Khouzestan Steel’s Positive Financial Performance Over the Past Nine Months
Khouzestan Steel Company has demonstrated a positive financial performance over the nine-month periods of recent years.
According to reviewed data, the company earned a revenue of 54,811 billion tomans in the first nine months of 2024 (Iranian year 1403). In comparison, its revenue for the same period in 2023 was 53,890 billion tomans, while in 2022 it stood at 37,461 billion tomans.
These figures indicate a 2% growth compared to the previous year (2023) and a significant 46% increase compared to 2022.
Despite this positive performance, it’s notable that in recent years—especially in the current year—the volume of lost production due to severe energy restrictions has increased significantly.
Reports indicate that in 2024 alone, the company lost 750,000 tons of production because of energy shortages, marking the highest volume of lost output in recent years.
