According to Mining News Pro - The CEO of the National Iranian Copper Industry Company announced a 25% increase in the nominal capacity of concentrate production in this company following the opening of 3 development projects from the beginning of this year.

Hossein Modares Khayabani stated that in the 4 months of this year, 300 thousand tons have been added to the nominal copper concentrate production capacity due to the operation of 3 development projects in the National Copper Industries Company of Iran.

The total concentrate production capacity of the National Copper Company before the start of the operation of these 3 development plans was 1 million 300 thousand tons annually, which has now reached 1 million 600 thousand tons with an increase of 25%.

The CEO of Nicico stated that the promotion of development plans is a priority on the agenda and stated: According to the plans, one project in the National Copper Industries Company of Iran will be completed and put into operation by the end of this year.
