“Both production units performed very well in April and May 1403 with numerous records; But in June, we were hit by electricity restrictions, and despite the power outage, the company's direct regeneration unit alone shouldered the burden of the production jump and in the first 5 months of this year, it was able to produce a record-breaking 826,856 tons of DRI. Compared to the same period last year, the amount shows a jump of 12%,” he explained.

“The noteworthy point is that the production capacity of the direct regeneration unit is 1,650,000 tons per year, and with the production of 826,000 tons, half of the nominal capacity has been achieved in only 5 months, and this is the case if Hormozgan Steel is given enough energy, will definitely produce beyond imagination and nominal and operational capacity,” Maroufkhani said.

He mentioned that today, according to the competitive environment that exists inside and outside the country and the specific economic conditions, moving towards improving productivity is a necessity for the preservation and survival of production organizations.
