Opening of Khuzestan Steel’s Wind Fencing and Bucket Wheel projects in the first half of 1403

Mining News Pro - The fifth management meeting was held with the presence of CEO Amin Ebrahimi, the CEO's deputies and advisors, and a group of deputies and managers of Khuzestan Steel Group.

According to Mining News Pro – “With the efforts of all the members of the planning and programming department, the operation of the Bucketville project will be done in July. Also, the windfencing project, as the country’s largest environmental project, will be completed in September 1403 and will be put into operation at the beginning of October this year,” said Ebrahimi, the chief executive of KSC.

“The water crisis will be a serious challenge in the coming years and we need to plan for it. Also, to save energy, prizes and gifts for top units should be considered. Considering the destructive effects of electricity restrictions on the steel industry, we should plan on using combined energy for our energy supply,” he added.

“Unfortunately, Khuzestan Steel, despite all the services it provides in the field of social responsibilities in the province, has been subjected to severe restrictions by energy carriers and has suffered a lot of losses,” Ebrahimi said.

He also mentioned that 200,000 tons of ingots and DRI must be sold monthly to break even and not incur losses. These explanations show the backwardness of Khuzestan Steel Company in providing profit margin.
