This figure is equivalent to a loss of more than 43,000 billion Tomans! Due to this huge damage, 17,000 employees of Khuzestan Steel expect not to face energy restrictions this year.
When large and parent companies face restrictions on electricity consumption, the damages will not only affect them and their employees, but these damages will spill over to the downstream industries, the commodity market and the currency market, and the entire country's economy.
In the summer of 1400 when steel market prices were doing fine, Iran's steel industry suddenly faced severe electricity restrictions. This year, energy restrictions caused the loss of 638 thousand tons of Khuzestan steel production worth about 434 million dollars.
In 1401, the employees of Khuzestan Steel Company felt the bitter taste of energy consumption restrictions and as a result of these restrictions, 372 thousand tons of steel production of this company worth more than 183 million dollars were lost.
Unfortunately, the electricity restrictions in the summer of 1402 were more than those of 1401, and due to these restrictions, Khuzestan steel lost 540 thousand tons of its planned steel production worth about 252 million dollars.
