Mining News Agency - Iran`s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari said on Monday that the volume of Iran-Hungary trade balance is expected to go higher than $100 million this year.
Mining News - Speaking to reporters after a meeting with visiting Hungarian Minister of National Economy Mihaly Varga, the Iranian minister said that the two sides discussed grounds for economic and industrial cooperation which was welcomed by the Hungarian minister.
`Considering the good experience of Hungary in the area of economic growth and reducing unemployment, we exchanged experiences,` Shariatmadari said.
The volume of trade between the two countries stood at nearly $20 million in the past which significantly improved last year, the minister said.
He also said that Iran-Hungary trade volume more than doubled last year, predicting the figure to exceed $100 million this year.
