Mining News Agency -According to the data from World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) on April 18th, there was a scarcity of global nickel supply in January and February 2018 which lacked 24,000 tons. Moreover, it was in a shortage of totally 96,100 tons in nickel supply in 2017.
Mining News -Based on the reports from LME, the nickel inventory decreased 31,000 tons year on year. There was total 28,600 tons of the global nickel output in January and February 2018.
The global nickel mine product was around 300,000 tons, which increased 44,000 tons year on year. The global refine nickel output was about 140,000 tons as the consumption was around 140,000 tons and rose 35,000 tons year on year.
