Tehran-Islamabad trade value grows 13.5 pct
Mining News Agency - Iran traded 2.26 million tons of non-oil goods worth $1.17 billion with Pakistan during the 11 months to Feb. 19, registering a 13.52% and 5.45% growth in value and tonnage respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period, according to Islamic Republic Customs Administration.

Mining News - Iran exported 1.94 million tons of goods worth $822.20 million to Pakistan during the period, indicating a 3.54% and 10.72% growth respectively year-on-year.

Exports to Pakistan had a 1.65% and 1.97% share in tonnage and value of Iran’s total non-oil exports during the 11-month period respectively, making the neighboring country Iran’s eighth biggest export destination, Financial Tribune reported.

Pakistan exported 328,652 tons of goods worth $353.89 million to Iran during the same period, up by 18.31% and 20.60% YOY

Imports from Pakistan made up 0.97% and 0.74% of Iran’s total imports in tonnage and value respectively. Pakistan was the 21st biggest exporter of goods to Iran.
