According to Mining News Pro - Touraj Zare, CEO of Iran Alumina Company said: Iran Alumina's environmental measures in Taash mine have been unprecedented.
“Considering that a major part of the qualitative feed of Jajarm aluminum factory was supplied from this mine, the suspension of its activities has led to 10-15% import of bauxite raw material from Turkey,” he explained.
According to this report; while the activity in the Taash bauxite mine operated by this company has been suspended due to environmental problems, the environmental measures of Iran Alumina Company in this mine were unprecedented.
