According to Mining News Pro -The company has mines in Mexico, Peru, Spain and the United States.

Mexico Group produced 254,297 tons of copper in the third quarter of this year, a decrease of 9.9 percent compared with the same period in 2017.

The company believes that copper prices are improving due to the growing market deficit in 2019 and thereafter. Even with worries about China-US trade warfare, Mexico Group officials predict that demand will be strong in 2019.

According to the ICSG, the global supply and demand balance shows that the copper market in January through July was at a fraction of 157 thousand tons; therefore, prices are likely to rise.

Mexico Group plans to increase its total copper production in 2019 by 12% compared to 2017. The company produced 1.01 million tons of copper last year.
