Mining News Pro - The mining and handling operations of the Hired gold mine last week began.
Alireza Jalalian, Director of the South Khorasan Complex, said last week, according to a report from the Iranian mining and quarrying company. 500 tons of minerals from the Hired mine were loaded and for industrial testing at the Muteh gold complex, Evacuated.
He added that according to the schedule, by mid-August of this year, 10,000 tons of minerals extracted from Hired will be submitted for industrial testing.
Jalalian noted that since the past year, the mining of Hired gold began with the storage of approximately 4.9 million tons of gold ore, experimentally and under contract with the private sector.
Director of the Khorasan South Complex said: 6 active mines in South Khorasan include Hird gold, Khounic gold, Henar iron ore, decorative marble (Aragonite) Tabas, lead and zinc of Uzbakouh and Polymetallic Eshgh Abad.
The Hired gold mine is 150 kilometers south of Birjand and 8 kilometers from the village of Basiran.
