Annual production of 800 thousand tons of zinc concentrate in the Mehdi Abad complex until 1401

On the other hand, Mehrdad Heydari, the managing director of Mahdi Abad Mine Investment Company, describes the performance of the Mahdi Abad Lead and Zinc Project, said: Processed factories with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of zinc concentrate of at least 35 percent zinc or the equivalent of 80,000 tons of lead concentrate - Silver with 60% lead grade will be constructed.
"He said that the capacity to produce zinc oxide in the first year was 75 percent in the second year of 90s, saying that measures to supply and transfer the required infrastructure and product production, exploitation, maintenance and sale of manufactured products are on the agenda. Also, since the second year, the sulfide production capacity has been set at 75%, the third is 90%, and the fourth year is 100% target.
He added: Total production capacity in the second year will reach 600 thousand tons, in the third year 720 thousand tons and in the fourth year thereafter 800 thousand tons.

Managing director of Pishgaman Lead and Zinc Industries Company of Mahdi Abad on exploration said: The purpose of additional studies, the re-evaluation of geological reserves and the achievement of the JORC2012 standard report is of interest to us.
He said about the plans for the construction of refineries for lead and zinc in the city of Mahdi Abad. The aim is to construct a sulfide-phase fermentation plant with a capacity of 200 thousand tons per year.
Heydari also announced a pre-roller operation of 29 million tons. He added that water supplies, preparatory activities and related costs have been made.

Managing director of the Mahdi Abad Investor Investment Company said: The required electricity supply is 80 MW, with the total investment needed in this sector to reach 1080 billion.
Heydari added: In assessing the environmental impacts of the construction of processing and production facilities and obtaining environmental permits, a report on evaluation studies has been prepared and permits for the transfer of water from the Environmental Protection Agency of the country and the Environmental Directorate of Yazd province have been obtained.
