Mining News Agency -CEO of Sabzevar steel project announced that Sabzevar DRI Plant started production on January21, 2018.
Mining News -According to the report of the public relations of IMIDRO, Iraj Nasouhi Dehnavi stressed that Sabzevar DRI plant generated its first product (DRI) on January 21, 2018.
Sabzevar DRI plant like other provincial steel projects was stagnant until 2013. It was activated by IMIDRO since the beginning of the 11th Government, he said.
He added that Sabzevar DRI plant produced sponge iron with 92.5 percent metallization.
CEO of Sabzevar steel project expressed that this plant was constructed by 4500billion IRR Rials investment which led to 370 direct and 3 thousands indirect employment.
He continued:”materilas (pellet) of this plant is being prepared by Opal Parsian Pelletizing plant in Sangan which was inaugurated by First Vice President last month”.
